The Intro to Aviation Workshop is suitable for students or interested aviation professionals of all ages, parents, educators, mentors) and includes access to session, networking opportunity and resource manual. Attendees preregister for workshops, which will prepare them to ask plenty of questions of the attending aviation companies.
Attendance is not limited to students – high school or college, many of the attendees seeking information, insight and resources were pilots (young and old, aviation graduates and transitioning military.) Register Here for intro workshop
Professional Career registration includes prep seminars, career resource directory, as well as options for scheduled Meet and Greets.
“As an aviation non-profit, we are very concerned about the future of this industry. Our conference attendees are getting older. Hosting this added element is an important opportunity to reach out to young people and also provide resources to those already in the industry who need a boost to get to the next level. There are alarming workforce shortages in aviation, unless we become proactive, the situation will become severe.”
Jamelle Garcia, Executive Director
Washington Aviation Association
Since Jamelle spoke these words back in 2013 the Career Forum has been an integral part of the NW Aviation Conference & trade Show. Career seminars are comprised of keynote speakers and panels with active duty operators including airline, coast guard, WSP, float pilots . The seminars provided information from industry leaders such as Alaska Airlines & Horizon Air, colleges and airports.
The Career Forum offers dedicated sessions for students, career pilots, and aviation mechanics.
